A must-have screenwriting guide.
I wish this book was out when I started writing scripts, fast, smart, and no-nonsense. It is full of the straight goods. It continually reminds me of the things I need as I write my scripts. I highly recommend this book.
Jo-Ann’s read is clean, concise and enjoyable to listen to. I devoured this in one sitting. I know I will be listening to this again and again.

Great info; not so great narration
I liked that there are many useful tips that will help me immediately while I work on my next screenwriting assignment. I also loved the PDF file that came with this audio book. However I disliked the pace of the narrator. There was a lot of information read out with few pauses. There was no way to digest the information. To be honest, it was stressful. Perhaps it’s not the type of book that makes for a good audio book? Two books on screenwriting that have excellent narrations are: Save The Cat (even though it’s not read by Blake Snyder) and Joe Gilford’s Why Does the Screenwriter Cross the Road.
