About this listen
P. Djeli Clark returns to the historical fantasy universe of A Dead Djinn in Cairo, with the otherworldly adventure novella The Haunting of Tram Car 015.
Cairo, 1912: The case started as a simple one for the Ministry of Alchemy, Enchantments, and Supernatural Entities - handling a possessed tram car. Soon, however, Agent Hamed Nasr and his new partner, Agent Onsi Youssef, are exposed to a new side of Cairo stirring with suffragettes, secret societies, and sentient automatons in a race against time to protect the city from an encroaching danger that crosses the line between the magical and the mundane.

Wonderful
I love the Series. The masterful interweaving of real history to fantasy to steampunk and Not being Canadian or American / European settings ack it does get droll those. This all not set in those places makes it so much more unique and special. So I very much love to hear these. Please see my other reviews with regard to the beginning of this series. Please listen and enjoy something very distinctly different, you won't regret it.

Great story, wavering sound quality
The world is intriguing and expansive. The plot is quick-placed. The characters give just enough to make me hope to see more by them.
The narrator is engaging, but I just wish the audio volume didn't raise and lower at random intervals. It's very distracting.

Bad narration
Mediocre story made worse by terrible narration. A shame since I quite enjoyed the first novella.
