About this listen
Helping the other O'Malleys through the crisis is taking everything Rachel has to give. When a school shooting rips through her community, she must lean hard against God to find the strength to help the children. For there is more than just sorrow confronting her, there's a secret. One of the students was there. One of them witnessed the shooting. And the murder weapon is still missing.

One of the most moving stories I’ve read or heard
This is the perfect culmination of Jennifer’s story, though the O’Malleys’ journey continues with Steven’s book. I cried through a third of it, because while beautiful in many ways, it’s incredibly painful too. I thought the issue of school violence was well-handled. It was too bad the high rate of school shootings in the US compared to that in countries with gun controls was avoided, but given how emotionally charged the subject is, it made sense to stay focused on why young people end up on a track where they think violence is the answer. I highly recommend this series for Christian or interested readers.
