No Story For OLD MEN

Great author but this story has way too many twist and turns. and I couldn't keep track of the name and who was good and who was evil 😈.I'm sure this book was not written for men past 70.

A great twist on a dystopian earth

I waited for this second book and I enjoyed it. The story does jumps around quite a bit and that got confusing when going back to the story. But this type of story is always a bit convoluted. Enjoyed the characters and the overall story. Great narration as always from Mr. Bray. Love the short blooper reel at the end, had a couple out out loud laughs. Thanks for the story Mr Hystad, keep up the amazing stories sir!!

Great narration but confusing story

RC always does a great job however I had difficulty following the characters and timelines. Couldn’t figure out who went with what earth or timeline.

Very hard to follow..

The large number of main characters, perspectives, and timelines made it very hard for me to follow and understand. I think a paper version might be easier if you are able to quickly flip back to reference what is going on. Audiobooks are at a disadvantage for that. It's a shame because overall, the concept is very cool. I just wish it was a bit more compact and not as much jumping around.

R.C. Bray was fantastic as always.

Enjoyed!

The story was difficult to follow in parts but I enjoyed the twist in a post apocalyptic world and I think it was an excellent use of a credit!

book 1 good. book 2 bad.

I feel like Michael Scott wrote book 2. Either that or a 9 year old. The ending was in the middle of the book then it kinda just trailed off nonsensically for 5 hours straight. This was the hardest book to finish I actually finished.

So Many Issues, So Little Time.

Ok first, did the person editing this fall asleep? There were 2 mistakes in the 1st 10 minutes. Plus the gaffe at the end of the first novel. R.C. Bray is really the only good thing that happened to this mess. The premise is incredible. The execution is very poor. The characters for the most part were very likeable, that is in the win column. The downfall was when no one said, enough, to Bellows, tell us everything now or we won’t do another thing. Instead, they just kept trusting him and doing his bidding? I understand wanting to pace the revelations, but this was about the worst way to go about it. The story itself felt very disjointed and wasn’t the easiest to follow. I had high hopes but this fell flat along with the first.
