A miss for me

Kinda corny. Not even the Scottish setting could save this rom com for me and I really didn’t enjoy the narrators.

Buy the actual book

I thought the story was cute, but the male narrator was insufferable. I almost stopped listening several times due to his voice. Do yourself a favour and buy the actual book so you don’t have to listen to him.

So funny!

I laughed a ton during this book. Some of the stuff that Bonnie said was hilarious! I really needed a book like this to lift my spirits, and it was a great escape. I enjoyed all the funny encounters of two Americans trying to find their way in a small Scottish town and finding love.

A swing and a miss

I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was looking for a fictional story set in Scotland. Unfortunately even my low expectations weren’t met. The storyline was pretty cheesy but it was the male voice performance that was the biggest drawback. He spoke so robotically, especially when imitating the female character. It was rough. I wouldn’t recommend it.
