I’ve read The Hobbit close to a million times. It’s been a favourite of mine since I was a kid. Andy Serkis does a wonderful job bringing this story to life. I can’t wait to dig into his narration of Lord of the Rings soon!!

I got audible specifically to listen to THIS book, because I have been wanting to reread it for quite a while now - and I knew that it was read by Andy Serkis (who plays Gollum in "The Lord of The Rings" AND "The Hobbit" movies - for anyone who doesn't know that). So, needless to say, I was the most excited to hear Chapter 5, "Riddles in the Dark," as it's the chapter that Gollum is in (and I knew the voice would be spot on) and it certainly did not disappoint - the whole book didn't. In fact, it totally surpassed my expectations! Truly EXTRAORDINARY! It is as if it's read by many different people, as Andy Serkis does a different voice for each character (I especially love his one for Gandalf) - AND he even sings all of the songs that are in it too! It's very entertaining! He's such a talent! Honestly, 10 and a half hours of my life VERY well spent! :D

The narrator makes this beloved take come to life as of it is playing out in my office. I wish Me. Serkis had also given his time and immense talent to read The Lord of the Rings.

quand il chante une musique de fond serais bien surtout si il chante pendant 5 min hahha mais serieusement l'imersion pourrais etre mieu fait...
