Not my cup of tea

This is the first book from this author that I am reading/listening to. The performance was fine, but this sounded primarily as a drama, with not much suspense for most of the book. Only after 50% it started to pick up a bit, but didn't hold my interest. Some of the premise and characters motivation didn't make much sense. Overall, I didn't enjoy it much.
