About this listen
A rallying cry for everyone tired of keyboard commandos and people who use speakerphones in open plan offices, The Jackass Whisperer is your guide to dealing with the worst people on earth. Jackasses are those who make our lives needlessly harder. They drive too slowly in the fast lane and too quickly in the slow lane, reply all, heat up fish in the microwave at work, and share way too much information about their cleanse on Facebook. They live in our homes, work in our offices, and shop at our stores. Jackasses are among us, and we have some bad news for you: If you can’t spot the Jackass at the (enter literally any place on the planet), then the Jackass is you. After a lifetime of research, Scott and Alison Stratten offer the definitive guide to surviving the Jackassery in your life and making the world a better place, one set of noise-cancelling headphones at a time.

A Jackass by any other name
I loved this book. I laughed and saw myself as both the jackass and whisperer. Get your itune gift cards and cargo shorts ready...this one is entertaining!

Good book but not for Audible
Content is good and interesting, but it lacks engagement as an audio book and doesn’t narrate well. Would be great as a physical book to reference on your night stand, coffee table or at work.

Loved this book!
I thought that this book was fantastic! It was just what I needed to listen too and the lessons from Alison and Scott Stratten were on point and exactly who I needed to learn them from.
I found myself on several occasion laughing out loud and nodding my head in my car in agreement.
They talk about so many different topics that I identified with, and I will certainly being doing my best to respond like the Whisperer in the future. The travel and parent section were among my favourites.
The audio version gives you the summary back and forth that I found so valuable as well.
Scott and Alison have such great insight to offer and that really comes out.
Great book. I’d recommend.

Funny but not useful
I think I was expecting a different approach. It was funny and Alison and Scott made this an interesting book to listen to. It I was really hoping for real strategies that help with jackasses. By the end of the day and multiple jackass exposures later, I would be weighted down with all the whisperer reactions
