Publisher's Summary

Love at first sight turns into newlywed bliss for former librarian Aurora Teagarden-until violence cuts the honeymoon short. Wealthy businessman Martin Bartell gives Roe exactly what she wants for their wedding: Julius House. But both the house and Martin come with murky pasts. Easy listen

Therese Plummer is an excellent reader. The story itself was fluff, which is what you want if you read this series.

The author comes across as a racist homophobe in every book. If that doesn't bother you, and you like fluffy mysteries you will enjoy this book.

A little disappointed

In previous works I have really enjoyed Charlaine Harris’s writing, and I really enjoy the movie adaptations of these books so I decided to read them, but I’m not enjoying them as much as I’d like. Generally I find I prefer books to movie adaptations but in this case I feel otherwise...I may not make it through the series after all...
