20 lbs down!

Honestly I only read half of the book because I was convinced to try the diet after only a few chapters and I’m 20 lbs down! I highly recommend this book and I love how he talks about science, not just opinions.

Awesome from start to finish!

This book offers the most up to date research and info and provides great strategies to help people attain ketosis safely and efficiently. It has helped me clear up many misunderstandings and questions that were preventing me from fully getting all benefits of keto.

Keto start up for beginners

Loved this book! Gives all the science details in layman terms of why keto is beneficial for everyone. Really easy to understand. Makes the keto transition really easy. Anyone who’s tried keto off the bad and had the keto flu would benefit from the 21 day reset. The apendix gives amazing information on all topics: keto and intermittent fasting for women, ketone supplements, refueling, gut bacteria and array of all the nitty gritty details. Two thumbs up!

Hit the spot

Unlike other reviewers I found the performance spot on. Actually I really enjoyed it. Mark Sisson’s book is absolutely essential in my own journey to health and wholeness. Together with others like Sam Harris and Alice Miller these people are like beacons showing the way to normalcy. My whole hearted thank you to them.

PDF not available

The audio is great but the pdf is not available. Tried multiple times to access it and nothing comes up.

Update: restarted my phone and pdf is available.
Will be looking through the recipes. Had a Quick Look and noticed that recipes have no pictures but meal plan and recipes are definitely included

A great listen

I almost didn't get this book just based on reviews of the narrator. I did not find him sarcastic or hard to listen to. Sure, he is no James Earl Jones, but the delivery was fine and I got the book for the content not because of who the narrator is.
This book was what I needed to solidify my resolve again and dive into Ketogenic eating. Not sure if I am allowed to make suggestions here, but if you are reading this review that means that Keto is on your radar and so I want to suggest watching "Fat Fiction" on Prime. With the background in the American carb based diet (explained in the movie) and the "where to go from here" direction given in this book, I found the motivation needed to ditch carbs.
On day 8 of the reset and feeling great.

A Must Read/Listen for everyone new to Keto!!!

This book is sooo great! i heard Mark talking about it on the model health show with Shawn Stevenson a while back and really clicked with everything Mark had to say about Keto. i am so glad i purchased the book and will be buying the hard copy to have on hand as well as i continue on my Keto journey.

good info but the narrator has to go

i got about half way through this audio book and could not handle the narrator any further . his voice is obnoxious ! i found the expression and connotation of his words to be insincere and phoney

Delivery of the book terrible

I found the narrator sarcastic and uninspiring. This was why i returned it. I tried several times to liaten but just couldnt get past his style of reading.
