About this listen
You’re no match for Merritt Quintell, the voice scoffed. He mentally yelled back at the persistent voice. Sinister laughs echoed throughout his mind. Jack pushed the voice out of his thoughts, and ignored its attempts to regain the spotlight. He had made a promise that he would kill the creature and that is exactly what he planned to do or die trying.

Fantastic Audiobook
The story was so great. I love Jim Shaw's take on the vampire genre. The Narrator was very dynamic and brought so many characters to life. I enjoyed the hell out of this audiobook.

Not in a hundred years
Not in a hundred years would I be caught reading a vampire story, let alone listening to one!
However, having known the narrator for a very long time and knowing that this was her first endeavor in narration and wanting to encourage her, I decided to shell out the price of the book.
Knowing also how talented the narrator is, and thinking that the story was a regular thriller (the vampire was a surprise!), I thought I might as well listen for few minutes, in order to swear that I had tried.
You see, being the old guy that I am, I can hardly listen to even soft music for any length of time before I get frustrated and pull the ear-things from the sides of my head and toss them away.
As I religiously listened on, the true mettle of the book started shining on me and a feeling of suspense started forming inside of me. At the same time I found myself being carried away to the heart of the story and through the brilliance of narration and the storyteller’s dazzling performance I got to know the characters, one by one, and was unable to part with them.......

My first audio book
This was my first experience listing to an audio book. It was a really good experience, as Nora Agha, the narrator, kept me always focused, as the story was unfolding. I got to know the names of the caracteres by their voices. I really liked the story, especially the happy ending, and I really enjoyed the talent Nora has to do all those different voices throughout the book. Over all, good story, happy ending and excellent narrator!
