Really enjoyed the narration style

Sway - 3 ⭐️

I loved the narration style! Instead of the narrators doing all the voices in their pov’s, they kept to their own characters. It was such a nice change and I felt more part of the story with it.

I’m a sucker for a single parent and Adriana Locke so I had a feeling this was already going to be good.

There was a lot of other woman drama which annoyed me a bit and I’m not sure how I feel about politicians.

Swing - 3 ⭐️

This was enjoyable. I liked this one better than the first book, Sway. I’m not super head over heels in with the the Landry boys yet, but I’m hoping somewhere in this series they’ll turn me lol.

Maybe I’ve been reading/listening to a lot of insta-loves lately (don’t ask me why, I just somehow get into it lol). Which made me a bit turned off from this one. I also classified this as a sports romance, but there wasn’t any sports involved. Lincoln was just a baseball player and that was kind of it. There was some talk of baseball near the end of the book, but that’s all the sports you get in here.

Switch - 3.75 ⭐️

It’s been a hot minute since I read/listened to an office romance. Immediately you’re brought into that vibe. There’s also a big time insta love in this one from the very first chapter. I don’t do too well with Insta love, but I will read anything in Adriana Locke rights.

I was going to originally give this a four stars. My mind quickly changed after our heroine, Mallory decided just to quit her job because she couldn’t really handle the stress and back-and-forth emotionally of her “relationship“ with her boss, Graham Landry.

Also, I really liked how are hero was the one with the crazy ex compared to the heroine who’s normally in that situation.

Like I said before in the other books in this series. I like the narration style. I enjoy how the female narrator is not having to do the males lines and vice versa. It makes me more immersed in the story. The two narrators also seem to really have a good connection and they really brought these characters to life as if they were the actual characters.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
