Twenty years in the future is five-hundred years in the past. It is just two decades after the worldwide societal collapse and the Vallenses, an Amish-like "plain people" living and surviving in what was once Central Texas, are under attack by the King of Aztlan and his armies. The prequel "WICK Series" tells the tale of the collapse (20 years before the events of The Last Pilgrims,) and all four of the completed WICK series books are now available on Amazon.com. WICK 1 is always free, and the compiled WICK Omnibus Edition is completed and available in both e-book and paperback format.

The prequel WICK Omnibus is a standalone story and can be read on its own. Cold Harbor, the 2nd book in the TLP series, is scheduled to be released in 2014.
