A fresh outlook on the world falling apart.

I enjoyed the fresh idea everyone losing your hearing. invaded by we don't know what. Jack leaves at so it could be man-made enemy or an alien and the world falls apart. I enjoyed the conflict of the main character. I wish she would have had more trouble with the alcohol. some withdrawal symptoms. but otherwise the mothers fight was awesome. a great read
