About this listen

Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal.

When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

Ya gotta love Jim Butcher.

The writing and performance seem to have been produced in good fun and one can't criticize that impetus. Also, the outtakes at the end of this novella are hilarious. So, because I am a huge fan of Jim Butcher and his Dresden Files, I am giving the novella and its narrator a generous four-star rating although, in all honesty, it is really an 'e' for effort.

Nice little novella to tide you over till the next novel. Very cool to hear Butcher read it himself. Looking forward to the next story.

Thank you Jim Butcher!

Really enjoyed earring it from the author. I like the work James Marsters do but Jim Butcher added a little something extra. Would like to repeat the experience.

Terrifyingly Funtastic!

Old-scool Dresden vibes, as in before so much superpowers Armageddon started to pile on. The narration was pro-level & I enjoyed the post credit surprise!

Jim. Why did you do it

I can’t get past 20 minutes. When is the written version coming out? Why didn’t you do a different POV. Jim you are the master, James is the heart. I don’t want to hear anyone else voice Harry Dresden. I would rather read it.

Nice to see a not end of the world story that just shows a more…standard case. Lots of fun. Here’s to hoping the next book comes out soon!! Thanks Jim!
