This is a story about a young girl who believes that she was orphaned as a baby. She lives beside the sea with an elderly couple who have looked after her for 12 years. However, on her 13th birthday, everything changed.
Going out to sea with an old man she had become friends with, she hears the story about the feared pirate, Bronze Arm. He has been the terror of the seas for many years and hearing his story terrifies her. What scares her more, though, is when her friend, Mica, reveals to her that she is related to Bronze Arm and that the pirate has been hunting for her for years. Following this revelation Kate is thrust into an adventure that takes her far from home. Along the way she meets new friends and discovers more about the parents she never met. Follow Kate on this journey of self-discovery, forgiveness, and redemption.
