Publisher's Summary

The Lion's Game adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!*

Booktrack editions are essentially a new genre of digital storytelling entertainment. Music and ambient audio are added to complement and enhance the audiobook experience. It is a synchronized movie-style soundtrack that complements the narration of existing audiobooks; the tempo and rhythm of the score harmonize with action, dialogue, and the characters' emotional arcs.

"The Lion" will be landing. And at New York's JFK Airport, an elite American task force waits as the notorious Libyan terrorist prepares to defect to the West. Then, aboard Flight 175, something goes eerily, horribly wrong - a mere prelude to the terror that is to come. Ex-NYPD cop, now Federal Task Force agent John Corey - together with his formidable and beautiful new partner, Kate Mayfield - will follow a trail of smoke and blood across the country. His quarry: a foe with the cunning of a lion and all the bloodlust of a man. To win a desperate game with no rules at all, Corey must invent a strategy that leaves no room for mistakes.

*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

NO CONCLUSION AFTER 20 HOURS!!!

Story was quite slow as per normal with this author but I would not mind if there was a conclusion! You need to buy the sequel and listen to another 20 hours if you want to get the bad guy! Unbelievable!!!

Disappointing

I was looking forward to this audible because in the past I’ve really enjoyed Nelson DeMille books. However, as I began listening I thought there was something wrong with the sound. I realized there was background music playing as the main character spoke. I couldn’t even get 15 minutes into the story when I found I couldn’t continue because the silly background music was annoying and very distracting.
I’m going to return this one back to Audibles if I can. I’m going to be very leery about trying any other audibles by this author because it would be a waste of time and money.
