Her family was enemy number one which made her guilty by association. I despised her before I even knew her. It was easier that way. But now she’d moved in next door to me, and she was everywhere I turned. I couldn’t avoid her no matter how hard I tried. She was beautiful and honest and sweet. Everything I knew I shouldn’t want. Sam and Chris' story was awesome! What a great character ARC for Samantha's character. I always knew there was more to her than she let on, and in book 3, she comes full circle with Chris' help. The pairing of this couple was just perfect. They balanced each other out in the best way. Chris was exactly what Sam needed when she needed to let her walls down in the mist of all the chaos that she is accustomed to because of who her family is and the power they hold. Secrets are brought to light, and without fail, Chris is their to lighten the load. Together, both Chris and Sam find the peace in each other and realize they are each other's true north. 💜
