Entertaining Hit-Piece
Pot? Meet Kettle. It's legitimately hilarious to hear a man convicted for Making False Statements to Congress, Witness Tampering, and Obstruction of Justice condemning facilitators of "dirty politics" in his book. It's pretty ironic. One further wonders if the estate of Lyndon Baines Johnson considered filing a lawsuit for libel before author Roger Stone was pardoned (the Washington Insider is "connected" like no-one else).
Notwithstanding the hypocrisy, Stone presents a no-holds-barred attack on the 36th President - accusing him of colluding with the Mob, illegal business practices, straight-up election through fraud, affairs beyond count with prostitutes & an actual harem of secretaries, three illegitimate children, and no fewer than eight murders. I strongly suggest you take this stuff with a HUGE grain of salt.. but the seemingly endless parade of salacious accusations & slurs is incredibly fun to contemplate.
Doubtless, truly commendable narration from David Rapkin raises my estimation of the book. His flawless diction and pacing are matched to a timbre & cadence that is comfortable to listen to for hours.. and an unsurpassed interested pedagogical tone.
The writing in this book is average, but the content is "can't-look-away" intriguing - loaded with quotes from famous politicians & criminals like Sam Giancana, for example (yes, hearsay.. but wow).
I judge 'The Man Who Killed Kennedy' worth 7 stars out of 10. If you can get it as a 'Plus' selection, by all means invest the time - it's a great distraction for a couple of quiet afternoons - but save your Credit for something more based in reality should they ask.

Who Done It ?
Chapter by chapter kept this listener captivated as Roger Stone rolled out the case in amazing detail. .If you ever wanted a definitive, fast paced narrative that hones in on the conspirators in & the subsequent coverup of the JFK assassination, Stone brings the goods like no one else has or could.

I was wrong
I was sure this would be a bunch of Stone spouting nonsense about how terrible the USA was, but I was pleasantly surprised. amazing research and interviews proved to me he was on to something.
