Publisher's Summary

The mantram, or mantra, is a short, powerful spiritual formula from the world’s great traditions, repeated silently in the mind, anytime, anywhere. Use it when you’re ill or anxious, tired, or restless, and the mantram will guide and comfort you like a true friend. The mantram can help you to:

  • Steady the mind and focus your thoughts.
  • Replenish your energy and willpower.
  • Free your mind from anxiety, anger, or resentment.
  • Access your deepest resources of strength, patience, and love.

A book. To meditate on

I have used several Mantram to meditate on. The Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi is my favorite due to it’s vast wisdom. I have memorized several Mantram for my 30 minute meditations. Eknath’s wisdom is clear, concise and everlasting. I have many of his books and enjoy listening to them all. This book gave me opportunities to choose and work with so many passages. I certainly recommend this book and all of his other books and website. If you are interested in learning about eastern religion, you have found it. Only your desire to learn stands in your way.
