About this listen

Those who were left behind after the Rapture must now make a crucial decision. Each person must choose whether to receive the mark of the beast, or die. Never has faith in God been more important for the group of believers called the Tribulation Force, who now face danger on all sides. Valiantly, they continue to urge new followers to accept Christ's love. Noted scriptural authority Tim LaHaye provides outlines for the vivid biblical prophecies in The Mark and the other books in the series. Best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins creates the dramatic stories for each fast-paced apocalyptic thriller. With Audie Award-winning narrator Frank Muller's powerful performance, The Mark takes on additional dramatic force.

The Left Behind series has topped best seller lists across the country, been the subject of special features in national media, and captured the attention of Hollywood producers. With sales in the tens of millions, the Left Behind books are the biggest selling inspirational series of all time.

Really Great Slowed Down

I really really missed the previous narrator…(Richard Ferrone) almost decided not to listen to the rest of the series because I was so disappointed! However, I slowed this guys Frank Muller) reading down to 9.0 as his reading is quite fast…and about 2 hours in…I’m really enjoying his narration a lot 🤓🤩

Just... Ugh

The narration....
Um....
I have questions:
1. Why wouldn't he have first made an attempt to hear how the other narrater for the last SEVEN books had done thing prior to ruining this built up story for listeners?
2. What's with the offensive accents? It comes across as mocking at times and over acting other times. Like we get the memo with the amazing writing. We don't need your condescending attempts to sound middle eastern or Asian and in one case disabled!!
3. If you're going to attempt an accent, but not the proper pronunciations of those own character's names, isn't it a little redundant?

New Narrator nearly made me quit

Richard Ferrone brought these books to life with his reading. He had a way of giving each character their own voice without awkward attempts at various accents. He paced it well. Atleast we only need to endure 2 books with Frank. Don’t mean to knock the guy harshly and I don’t know the circumstances as to why Richard is absent on these two books, but switching the reader after so many is quite jarring. Lastly, it’s ZI-ON, not Zee-Own.
