The story deviates from the typical romance novel formula, presenting a narrative that unfolds across four interconnected books. In this first installment, I found myself drawn into a world where four young women enter a clandestine auction, vying to be married to the highest bidders for a substantial sum. The premise alone is gripping, but it's the emotional depth and character dynamics that truly captivated me.
One aspect that sets this book apart is the storytelling technique involving multiple points of view, ranging from 8 to 9 different perspectives.
