The Metronome Effect will guide you on your journey to predictable profit. It will ensure the habituation that excellence is derived from is engrained in your organization.
Every leader is empowered to set their metric beat to make sure the company is doing everything it needs to do to grow their profit. This audiobook draws on the wisdom of some of the best business minds of our time, as well as the author's own experiences as a serial entrepreneur, to create a methodology that shows you a practical step-by-step process; how to rhythmically integrate all the crucial parts of your business.
Every leader has a metronome - find yours and discover the path to predictable profit. Shannon Byrne Susko has more than 20 years of experience building and leading high-growth technology companies in the financial services industry. She co-founded, served as Chief Executive Officer, and led the sale of two companies in less than six years: Subserveo, Inc. and Paradata Systems Inc. She was recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 under 40 in 2000, and was awarded the Sarah Kirke Award for Canada's Leading Women Entrepreneurs in 2006.
She currently serves as a corporate director, as well as a leadership coach, helping CEOs and top executives in a variety of industries keep their companies on the path to growth and predictable profit.

Interesting book but hard to listen to
Very interesting compilation and organization of management tools but hard to follow as an audiobook since the tools are visual and practical.

Very hard to listen to
The author was dry and didn’t have good annunciation with audio the book which made it hard to listen to. Sadly I couldn’t take it anymore and choose not to finish it
Also, you need work books and graphs that are in the paper copy. This should be noted before purchasing this Audiobook

Reading it is fabulous. Listening, not so much.
I truly enjoyed the content in this book but I must say that i was disappointed with the monotone nature of the audiobook reading. We recently went through Metronome sessions with our team and it was a fantastic, but challenging process. I would recommend the "Metronome Effect" and "Scaling Up" to any business owner and/or leadership team, but this audiobook should be redone by a professional audiobook narrator that brings more excitement to how good the content actually is.

Multivitamin for Entrepreneurs
In metronome effect, Shannon has reviewed ideas from several top entrepreneurial books, and summarized them in a very efficient way. She also recommended to listeners to read some of them. I found this book a practical modern play book for many leaders of small to mid size companies. Fortunately, I also have the physical book, and used the audio book to listen while traveling. In my opinion, the reader should also have the book for the best experience, and go through the action items after listening to this book. In general very informative book, although the performance has room for improvement (maybe a little more emotion in voice by narrator while reading the first chapters).
