Very informative
I’m 48 and a Health & Wellness Coach. I am physically fit and know how to eat… HOWEVER, during the pandemic my weight kept climbing NO MATTER WHAT I DID! I got my blood checked and my cortisol levels were dangerously high (explaining the weight gain). I went to do acupuncture to level my hormones (and started taking CBD)… now that everything is balanced I should lose the weight, right? Well, the body doesn’t work like that! I was getting extremely discouraged and down on myself (also no great for the ol stress hormone!), until I found this book! I started 3 days ago and am already down 4lbs ! I know it’s early days, but this book just clicked for me.
It’s easier to do than you might think. And the fact that it’s not calorie focussed or portion focussed makes it less intimidating. And the three phases makes it easier for my brain to handle - 21 days? I can do this for 21 days!! - Phase 1 -> 21 days, Phase 2 -> 28 days, Phase 3 (aka maintenance phase) is 6 weeks I think.
I have a huge sweet tooth and thought I’d be easily swayed, but not at all! My body is getting what it needs.
I’ll update more after Phase 1.

Interesting message-I learned a lot!
I really learned a lot from this book. Don’t forget to access the supplemental materials on his website, they mention it in the beginning and can be easily missed. 😊 #audible1
