I tend to get easily irritated with authors who write in black and white terms claiming that if you follow certain extreme steps you will be fully cured of any ailment. Dr. Chutkan's work is refreshing. Her writing isn't condescending, and she doesn't have a hidden agenda. She seems to genuinely want to help people. The narrator is easy on the ears and presents Dr. C's researched arguments in an easily digestible manner, but with substantial enough explanations to appeal to scientific types like myself. Her suggestions are just that, suggestions, and her methods are reasonable as opposed to an all-or-nothing approach. I would definitely recommend this title.
