Publisher's Summary

Two best-selling Agatha Christie novels in one great audiobook

In Agatha Christie's class mystery Murder on the Links, Hercule Poirot attempts to unravel the grisly conundrum of not one, but two dead bodies discovered on a French golf course.

An urgent cry for help brings Hercule Poirot to France. But he arrives too late to save his client, whose brutally stabbed body now lies face down in a shallow grave on a golf course.

But why is the dead man wearing an overcoat that is too big for him? And for whom was the impassioned love letter in the pocket? Before Poirot can answer these questions, the case is turned upside down by the discovery of a second, identically murdered corpse....

Performed by Hugh Fraser

The most widely read mystery of all time - now a major motion picture directed by Kenneth Branagh and produced by Ridley Scott!

"The murderer is with us - on the train now...."

Just after midnight, the famous Orient Express is stopped in its tracks by a snowdrift. By morning, the millionaire Samuel Edward Ratchett lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. Without a shred of doubt, one of his fellow passengers is the murderer.

Isolated by the storm, detective Hercule Poirot must find the killer among a dozen of the dead man's enemies, before the murderer decides to strike again.

A Not-Commonly-Read, Great Novel, along with a Beloved Classic

I’m reviewing these novels out of order, so that I can say my most important comment: The Murder on the Orient Express is NOT performed by Hugh Fraser!!! :-( :-( :-(

Ok; on to the 1st book, which IS performed by Hugh Fraser, and with his usual excellence :-) Also, I thought that I had read all of Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot novels. It turns out that I was sadly mistaken; I had missed The Murder on the Links. Luckily, I bought this audiobook combo :-) The Murder on the Links is a bit different from most of the other Poirot novels, and in a refreshing way :-) (That’s all that I’m saying; no spoilers here! ;-) )

Good books but I don’t think Agatha Christie is for me

In both stories it was interesting to see how to crime was commited but in both books I found it hard to follow all the names and since we cant go back to a few pages to remember which character was named what on a audiobook platform like physical books I felt like it got more confusing than it was supposed to be. Also listening to both books back to back made me realize how similarly they are, exactly same concept just different murder. Im sure people out there would love that but I just dont think it’s my style. I found myself bored or getting distracted from time to time.
