A decent book.

I love the world of Numenera, and broad strokes the story is good. There are quite a few oddly worded parts that sometimes make it difficult to follow, and sadly these parts take away from the emerson. The reader is pretty good though. (though I'm pretty sure she mispronounces the protagonist's name).

I also thought it was odd that such an emphasis was put on non violence. Lives could have been saved if violence was embraced. Plus violence is a quarter of what happens in the game so... ya.
