Publisher's Summary

Some nightmares you can't forget

From the depths of sleep, Seattle TV reporter Anna Malone awakens to her phone ringing. She rarely drinks, and this hangover is brutal. Why can't she shake the feeling that something terrible happened last night? And why can't she recall any of it?

But even worse

What Anna does remember: an awkward restaurant meal with her married lover, Russ Knoll, and his unsuspecting wife, Courtney. Russ' phone call reveals that Courtney is missing, and as days go by with no trace, he comes under police scrutiny. Anna's in the spotlight, too, thanks to a TV rival with a grudge. Anna's not proud of her affair, but she and Russ aren't bad people. They're certainly not the killing kind.

Is the one you can't remember....

Anna already suspected that Courtney - a successful, charming author - might have a darker side. Is she truly missing? Perhaps the sudden disturbances in Anna's life aren't accidental after all. But no scenario that Anna imagines can compare to the twisted game unfolding around her, one chilling piece at a time....

Really enjoyed

At some points I thought it a bit dragged out, but always managed to recapture my interest.

interesting

honestly I couldn't finish listening to it. whoever is reading this sounds like a robot and it was hard to get through. whatever I heard it was interesting but the narrator ruined it. I'll just read the actual book myself.

narration

narration is horrible the worst I've heard. sounded like my husband reading to me not a professional, hard to get through, not sure why publishers would let this through

Brilliant book

This is an Amazing book. Well written and the narration was good. Brilliantly written and a suspenseful story throughout that kept you guessing.
It was an unexpected story with so many twists and turns and very thrilling. Such a suspenseful book that it was so difficult to guess who was the killer.
However, this book was a bit long winded. I think it could have been shorter because there were so many irrelevant descriptions of just mundane things.
I’m not a fan of male narrators and the voices were a bit boring. However, the narrator did get the point across and I warmed up to his voice.

I definitely enjoyed this book. For those who like a thrill read this one should be on your list.
Highly recommend and I thank Audibles Plus for including this very good book. It’s worth a Credit.

Long-winded

Long-winded and boring this book could have been five hours long. Lots of repetitive story in the middle that went absolutely nowhere! After unspeakable, this was a big letdown!
