Have you ever done so well on a project that the teacher had nothing to say in feedback? It was just perfect? Yes, this was a perfect thriller. One quirk about Forsyth that I like is how he introduces characters with their backstories. I prefer this method of introduction over strategically planted dialogue.

An excellent thriller

What starts as just another news story for a young freelance journalist soon spirals into a dangerous obsession, and Forsyth tells it with his trademark precision and relentless pace. Gripping, meticulously researched, and chillingly plausible. As Santiago learns in The Alchemist, some books find you only when you're ready for them. How true. This one arrived right on time.
