Embarrassing

One of the advantages of having your book professionally published is that your manuscript is subjected to professional editors and proofreaders. 'The Other Emily' is a clear example of what happens when a press fails to apply those professional services to a manuscript. Not one sentence is properly constructed. The plot is unbelievable. The characters are ridiculous. This is a rare beast: an audiobook that even Amy McFadden couldn't save.
