Another awesome John Corey book on the season! Couldn’t stop listening! Really enjoyed this book.

The storyline was very exciting and the narrator’s voice was pleasant to listen to. However, I forgot how annoying the author’s overuse of the word ‘right’ was. You don’t get far into this audible before it becomes more of a focal point than the plot. At times I felt like I was listening to a comedian on stage because it was short quip after another. There were also too many childish ‘jokes’ to the point of being totally unnecessary and where if I was his wife, Kate, I would have smacked him or had to leave the marriage because of his lack of decency.
Very disappointing since DeMille writes terrific stories but I won’t be listening to any more of his books.
