About this listen

In search for greater power, Matt, Liz, and Aster embark on their most dangerous adventure yet.

Minkalla, a planet where only those below TIer 15 can enter. A planet where the rules of the realm are changed, where the weaker you are the greater the rewards.

Matt and the team intend to conquer it at Tier 11.

Seven floors, seven rewards of every increasing power, thousands of chances of death not just from the Tier 14 monsters but from all the others entering the planet.

The Empire isn't the only one with a claim on the planet. All eight Great Powers send their people into the planets depths.

Its not just a fight for survival. Its much worse. A fight for power.

Don't miss Book 6 of this action-packed fantasy adventure that blends everything you love about LitRPG with Xianxia.

About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and Xianxia. It's like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all Xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

Lived it!

This series was a new to me author and I'll definitely be looking for any other works. I loved the story line as well as the characters. I'd recommend this book!

Glad

well I'm happy our main characters can start using there real powers again. it's still annoying how they can't truly go all out all the time. if they really have to hide again after they get out and join the war its going to be so annoying

Can't wait for book 7

Honestly, just another great book adding to an already awesome series! Although tbh, after book 4 I was disappointed with how weak it was in comparison to the previous works with no overarching plot. Book 5 picked up again though with the action, but was frustrating at times bc of how the MCs had to limit themselves. Here, although they do have to keep Matt's secret like always as well as wear masks, they can go all out with all of their skills and abilities if necessary. Queen was also a great addition to their team, hope she stays around going forward after this storyline wraps up.

Can't wait for the next book!

I suck at reviews and can't bring out my thoughts into writing. I wanted to review this book despite this shortcoming.

I felt a palpable sense of excitement when I got the news that book 6 of the "Path of Ascension" series dropped. The continuation of Matt, Liz and Astor's progression through the tiers of cultivation is addicting to listen to. The world building and magic system of this universe are one of my favorites I've seen in a series. Talents and Skills and how they level up and interact with each other is fascinating. Overall, a well thought-out universe with many unique twists that makes it shine in a saturated genre.

The only downside I can think of is the fact I have to wait for the next book to come out instead of learning about this series after it finished so I could binge listen to it.

Seriously, well done! I don't review normally, but I wanted to thank C.Mantis and J.S. Arquin along with anyone else that helped to bring this story to life. I eagerly await the next book!

bad end point

the book is fine and if you like the others you will probably like it. my frustration was it does not really end at a good point. It is a good length, but leaves you hanging without a conclusion to this part of the adventure.

Worst one yet

Nothing happens, it feels like a bunch of unconnected short stories smashed together. There's no antagonist, no driving force, just some kids playing around in a lame dungeon.

not the best in the series

I like this series, but really didn't care for the random strangers perspectives. felt like filler material.
