Amazing, must read for seekers

You're new to paganism, polytheism, ANY spiritual practice outside of those already heavily institutionalized (you've got enough orders and direction from those already, right?) - whatever brand it does not matter... Beckett nailed it in this heartfelt and somehow also completely logical guide to basically getting your crap together and figuring out where to go and what to do with it. You're hearing the call of a god or goddess? Something weird is making you wonder about spirituality again or for the first time? Read this. It's a lovely blueprint for starting something just as real as anything else you'll find, with some excellent advice on how to do it in a legitimate and meaningful way. Beckett doesn't order or judge or fill the pages with shallow speculation that you're going to find out later is garbage. He gives you something real you can use, instead.

Narration is on point and appropriate, no craziness there. Excellent all-around audio book. The print book is affordable and worthwhile as well. I plan to get his next book, 100%.

Interesting book

Very well written. If you want to learn the baseline of paganism this is the book for you.
I admit that i got bored sometimes because there was too much details of ceremony but overall i highly recommended.

Negative towards other belief systems

Being a follower of a “unusual” belief system I have had my fair share of judgments I’m my life. Because of this I do not support or enjoy divisive and judgmental language. Like many pagans I can relate to the hostility picked up in the authors words. However, even though I recognize it I do not feed that part of myself. You are no better then those you talk about if you take all these jabs. I found he derailed from fact and info and got lost in contempt for Christian’s. For that reason the gift in this book is lost on me.
