Fun and Drama
Great characters with depth and varied plot lines to keep the book moving at a great pace. Lots of drama and happy endings.

The female characters are strong independent and yet vulnerable. Just lovely
Wasn’t long enough. Just kidding they make you fill this box out. 15 words is tough

Easy to follow and great follow up to the Perfect Retreat
The story was written well and easy to listen to with 3 separate plots that tied together. I really enjoyed it while being home bound the last week and inspired me to want to book a warm vacation! Narrator is great as usual with a great range of accents and ease in distinguishing the different characters. Highly recommend

Irritating narrator at times
The story is fairly good, as was the previous book in the series. However the narrator has a way of having her sentences run together in one breath with no pauses--which would be OK if it was just for one character or just as part of her narration, but she does it for every character which just feels unnatural... why would all these people be talking with this style of rhythm and inflection? I don't know it just bothered me for some reason.

This should come with trigger warnings
I realize it’s fantasy style romance, but seriously - sexual assault, drug addiction, stalking, sexual exploitation, closeted sexuality, and women just being “so strong after going through so much” while they having sex with their “dream man”. The performance was good, but I could not finish this problematic book. Yikes.

Disappointed
I really enjoyed The Best Worst Christmas by Kate Forster, so was looking forward to this book.
It’s like this book was written by a different person. The humour of the Christmas book was absent. Sentence structure became really annoying. Every third sentence started with a verb. It felt awkward and odd. I tried hard to get into the story and characters, but the writing style kept me away.
