About this listen

Recovering from trauma is a challenging journey—discover how trauma-informed yoga can contribute to a holistic healing process and a renewed sense of well-being…

Trauma doesn’t discriminate, it can happen to anyone, affecting people from all walks of life. Approximately 70% of adults in the U.S. have encountered some form of a traumatic event.

Among the various treatments for trauma, trauma-informed yoga stands out, rooted in an ancient practice, offering a safe, compassionate, and empowering path to recovery.

This book, authored by a seasoned yoga practitioner, serves as a compassionate guide towards empowered healing, resilience, and personal growth. Inside, you’ll discover:

  • An in-depth exploration of trauma and its impact on mind and body
  • Specific yoga poses and pranayama exercises designed for trauma healing
  • The power of mindfulness in trauma-informed yoga practice
  • A guide to starting and sustaining your trauma-informed yoga journey

And much more.

Trauma-informed yoga not only supports personal healing but also promotes empathy and understanding, contributing to a more connected and healing world.

Health and wellbeing

Sometimes I think about the past which keeps my mind concerned. Sometimes I let it go because if I do not, I can experience trauma. Yoga is an excellent tool to try to erase all my derogatory thoughts and past feelings so I can live healthier. I felt great listening to this audiobook because it provides tips to overcome past thoughts. I highly recommend everyone to give it a listen.
