About this listen
Updated and extended chapters! Bonus chapters! Featuring an in-depth conversation with Natalie Fikes on how she relearned the true meaning of forgiveness and how it continues to change her life.
Wouldn't you like to jump to the end of the game and be the winner every time? You can by practicing forgiveness. There is the concept of forgiveness, and then there is the actual application of it. This book offers the opportunity to truly understand forgiveness and actually implement it so you can better navigate and be in control of your life.
Forgiveness is not a last resort; it's the first stop. Forgiveness can feel difficult and overwhelming—in some cases, it feels like it's not an option. But forgiveness is how you heal, mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Here is a nonreligious approach to utilizing forgiveness. Many pair forgiveness with religion, but you don't need religion to practice forgiveness. Pragmatic forgiveness is about pardoning, excusing, and letting go of people, things, and experiences that no longer serve you or are holding you back, down, and in place, restricting your freedom and disrupting your peace.
Freedom requires you to lovingly dismiss the detrimental, the toxic, and the old, negative past. You have to give yourself the opportunity to release obligation, fear, anger, hurt, and pain, untethering yourself so you can experience peace instead.
Here is your guide to understanding forgiveness, knowing how and when to implement it, and creating your life your way.
