When one of the Sultan's wives is brutally murdered, what begins as a reluctant task turns into a fight for survival. Not very good

The Alhambra setting and the periodkhi have great promise as context for an adventure like this, but the author uses very little little historical info, apart from harem voyeurism. I also found the writing and pace muddled, and the characters cartoonish. The narrator does a good job .
