About this listen
Armored little people riding armored dinosaurs in a full-contact bloodsport? Welcome to Dinolition, the biggest show in the galaxy. Star rider Poughkeepsie Pete and his T-Rex mount “Old Bess” are fixtures of a league struggling to reach profitability and gain intergalactic recognition, to be thought of as something other than circus-freak sideshows.
But to get that credibility (and the massive payday that comes with it), Pete has to manage a league commissioner with a God complex, deal with a devious team owner, navigate a web of organized crime trying to fix matches, and dodge religious zealots set on killing him and the dinos alike — all while grooming the next generation of riders that will carry the sport into a new age of glory.
In Dinolition, authors Paul E. Cooley and number one New York Times best seller Scott Sigler give “ride till ya die” a whole new meaning.
Performed by Matthew Bassett, Jonathan Feuer, James Konicek, Scott McCormick, Amanda Forstrom, Chris Genebach, Elizabeth Jernigan, Jessica Lauren Ball, Nick DePinto, Nora Achrati, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, Jonathon Church, Michael Glenn, Dawn Ursula, Ken Jackson, Gwen Grastorf, Brad Smith, Zeke Alton, Chris Davenport, David Harris.

DINOSAURS, DWARFS, DESTRUCTION!
The dramatized adaptation of Scott Siglers' "The Rider" gets brought to new heights that I am both happy and ashamed to admit.
On the one hand, the performances were absolutely topnotch, and the audio quality leaves nothing to be desired. The sound effects are great, and the whole audio novel experience is downright enthralling to the point that I was genuinely startled at one point, thinking something had actually broken right next to me while I was doing the dishes and I had come to a point in the story where a door was kicked in and smashed.
While on the other hand, I've heard the original audio novel on Scott Siglers podcast way back when, and to consider this newer, shinier version of the story to be the superior one somehow feels like a betrayal! 🤣
Don't mind me, it's a 10/10. But just be aware, this is a short story, a side story if you will. Set within the grand scale audio novella of the GFL storyline. So don't jump in expecting an 8 to 10 hour tale, only to turn sour and disappointment because you didn't double check what you were getting into!
Or do....who am I to tell you how to feel?! 🤣👌✨️
