A late spring in 1142 has the Abbey monks dismayed, for there may be no roses by June 22nd. I am a devotee of Ellis, Peter’s brother Cadfael stories. This certainly didn’t disappoint. However, the reader was less than ideal. There’s another reader of other Cadfel stories, whom I prefer.  that being said, a good listen. Thank you, Audible.
