About this listen

Don and Rosie are back in Melbourne after a decade in New York, and they're about to face their most important project. Their son, Hudson, is having trouble at school: His teachers say he isn't fitting in with the other kids.

Meanwhile, Rosie is battling Judas at work, and Don is in hot water after the Genetics Lecture Outrage. The life-contentment graph, recently at its highest point, is curving downwards.

For Don Tillman, geneticist and world's best problem-solver, learning to be a good parent as well as a good partner will require the help of friends old and new. It will mean letting Hudson make his way in the world and grappling with awkward truths about his own identity. And opening a cocktail bar.

Great way to end the trilogy

I felt that the author did a great job with the completion of this trilogy. The first book in the series is still my favourite, but nonetheless, I found that the story in this book was a great way to end the series.

Heartwarming glimpse into challenges growing up with autism.

I enjoyed it just as much as The Rosie Project.
Wonderfully written, so many great stories and many laughs plus a couple heartfelt tears.
Highly recommend both books.
The narration is brilliant.

Full circle

An interesting ride along with a family managing life on the autism spectrum .. and a full circle conclusion to the project.

Fun, enjoyable read

Not as good as the first book, but better than the second (which I read the old fashioned way, as it isn’t available on Audible). An easy listen, some insight into ASD diagnosis, and a few laugh out loud moments. Great way to end the trilogy!

Read it! The other books in this series are ...

...occasionally funny, yet frequently belittling, annoying, and implausible. This one is educational, heartwarming, and empowering.

Satisfying!

So fun to hear life’s trials solved thru Don’s autistic mind! My husband and I love listening to these stories on road trips! Thanks 😁

I want more!!!

I really am eager to hear the second book in the series because this third one mentions a number of people that I don't remember being in the first book. Other than that, I really love Graeme Simsion's work. The dry humor really gets me chuckling.

Extremely enjoyable series

I listened to The Rosie Project, read The Rosie Effect, (I was quite surprised this middle book wasn’t available as an audiobook), and listened to The Rosie Result. It was during this last book that I realized that the really great narrator has one downfall. It was often very difficult to figure out who was speaking. Not enough differences in the voices for my liking.
