About this listen
In this New York Times bestselling installment of the "outrageously entertaining" Strike series (Financial Times), detective duo Cormoran and Robin must rescue a man ensnared in the trap of a dangerous cult.
Private Detective Cormoran Strike is contacted by a worried father whose son, Will, has gone to join a religious cult in the depths of the Norfolk countryside.
The Universal Humanitarian Church is, on the surface, a peaceable organization that campaigns for a better world. Yet Strike discovers that beneath the surface there are deeply sinister undertones, and unexplained deaths.
In order to try to rescue Will, Strike's business partner, Robin Ellacott, decides to infiltrate the cult, and she travels to Norfolk to live incognito among its members. But in doing so, she is unprepared for the dangers that await her there or for the toll it will take on her. . .
Utterly gripping, The Running Grave moves Strike's and Robin's story forward in this epic, unforgettable seventh installment of the series.

great listen
The last one was interesting but the internet discussion pieces made the audiobook so hard to follow.
thankfully none of that in this book
slightly weird to have similar character names such as Midge and Mitch and someone needs to remind the narrator how to say Birmingham when referring to the British city because they started pronouncing it like the Alabama version when we get to the last ten hours of the book.
great way to block out the irritations of a commute in Toronto

Another 5 Star Read
Another 5 star read from Robert Galbraith. Started this book as soon as it released as I was so excited for another addition to the Strike franchise and this one did not disappoint. One of the best books so far! Now, impatiently waiting for book 8!

another winner!
these books keep getting better and better with every one! absolutely loved this one! Robert Glennisters has ruined me for other audiobook narrators 😂 he is by far, my favorite Narrator! I'm absolutely devastated I'll have to wait probably another 2 years before the next one!

Intense and gripping
I think this one was more intense than previous one, specially some parts. Also, dark and disturbing just in different sense. I like references to the previous books here and there. Someone says that it is long but I don't agree, the story unfolds bit by bit and you literally cannot put it down (or press pause button). And as in real life, it's not realistic to find all answer to such a complex case within couple of interviews. Great story, worth the time

Good listen
Ok firstly let’s get the critique out of the way… this book is long, tedious at times, even as an audio book
But Comoron is back! I thought despite the length of the book, the narrators pacing was great, voice was clear. I thought in previous books the accents were a distractions at times…but this book didn’t have that… I was happy with the development of the two main characters … their story, it was perfect (IMO)
At the End of the day, I was invested entertained and left wanting more
