Publisher's Summary
With refreshing determination and hopeful grit, humanity activates a bold endgame against an alien invasion in the finale of a series heralded as "a modern classic" (Stephen Baxter) from "one of the finest writers the genre has produced" (Gareth L. Powell).
Humanity is struggling to hold out against a hostile takeover by an alien race that claims to be on a religious mission to bring all sentient life to its God at the End of Time. But while billions of cocooned humans fill the holds of the Olyix's deadly arkships, humankind is playing an even longer game than the aliens may have anticipated. From an ultra-secret spy mission to one of the grandest battles ever seen, no strategy is off the table. Will a plan millennia in the making finally be enough to defeat this seemingly unstoppable enemy? And what secrets are the Olyix truly hiding in their most zealously protected stronghold?
With his trademark optimism about humanity's tenacity and capacity for greatness, Peter F. Hamilton wraps up this brilliant saga with a bang - and reminds us why freedom of choice is the most important freedom there is.

Great end
A very satisfying conclusion. Even a few lose ends that could result in a sequel? Very well done!

Best Sci Fi in decades
I loved this trilogy. Yes, it's complex and you get lost sometimes. Occasionally you have to go back and re-read things. But that's simply because the imagination of this author is so vast and as a result there are many moving parts. The technology he invisions over Eons of future human history (and the people involved in developing it) had me consistently straining my brain, so much so that I'd like to read it again to figure out the things I know I missed the first time through. But its not all technical Sci fi. It's well balanced with plenty of action, humour, love, and emotion. In other words, its fun. The third book is one long climax that has you on the edge of your seat for pretty much it's entirety, and unlike many epics, it finishes strong post climax and puts a nice bow on top. I can't say enough good things about this series, and I look forward to reading his other works.

Startlingly Believable
If you’re a futurist, if you want to read about a very pale future, this is it. So detailed, so human, so credible. I hope there’s more ; the story isn’t done. Incredible narration !

Really good
I enjoyed all these books. The narrator goes a bit overboard with the accents but it wad toned done from the first book so it was not too bad. I no longer expect Yuri to demand they find "Moose and Squirrel".

A Climax Lasting An Entire Book
My goodness, I think my issues with the Salvation Sequence may, in retrospect, just be structural. it was all leading up to this, and hardly anyone does giant space battles like PFH. The climax of the trilogy is very nearly this entire novel. will be re-listening to the whole trilogy methinks.
