Inspired by the classics

I enjoyed this version of the Robin Hood story, which takes inspiration from the original ballads and some of the classic retellings of the legend. The author has put thought into character development and narrative structure and has created a unique version of the story.

What I did not like: archaic language in the dialogue and footnotes in the text, which are especially jarring in an audiobook.

Overall, I applaud the work and recommend it for young adult and older readers as well as for Robin Hood enthusiasts.
