Story
Twelve-year-old Sophie has never quite fit into her life. She’s skipped multiple grades and doesn’t really connect with the older kids at school, but she’s not comfortable with her family, either. The reason? Sophie’s a Telepath, someone who can read minds. No one knows her secret - at least, that’s what she thinks.... But the day Sophie meets Fitz, a mysterious (and adorable) boy, she learns she’s not alone. He’s a Telepath too, and it turns out the reason she has never felt at home is that, well...she isn’t. Fitz opens Sophie’s eyes to a shocking truth....

In fact Ben is so awkward, he can barely get to school and back without a mishap. Publisher's Summary
THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL will soon be a major motion picture from Netflix—starring Academy Award winner Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh, Sofia Wylie, Sophie Anne Caruso, Jamie Flatters, Earl Cave, Kit Young, and more!
The New York Times bestselling School for Good and Evil series is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one. Start here to follow Sophie, Agatha, and everyone at school from the beginning!
With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she'll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.
The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed—Sophie's dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.
But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are?
Don't miss the thrilling conclusion to the beloved series, The School for Good and Evil #6: One True King!

Great for tweens
A bit young for me, but I still thoroughly enjoyed and will listen to the next book. Netflix movie was good, but probably would have been better as a series to capture the characters. If you’ve seen the movie, this is definitely still worth a listen!
Great narration and story pace!

A Retelling Fairytale Worth Reading!
Unexpected fairy tales! Good and evil are not so black and white! Such a wonderful twist to the world of fairy tales. I will admit that the start is slow, but when it began to put the pieces together, it really took turn after turn after turn! I recommend this book and look forward to reading the next books in the series!

I think I’m in love!
I really liked this book... like a lot. I loved Sophie’s personality despite being really sexy centered because it was hilarious and Agatha was so sweet! All of the cliche villain vs hero aspects were hilarious to listen to ( uglification class vs beautification X,D) I feel like the headmaster could have been developed more, but that might come in the next books. The narrator did a really good job too. Overall it was a really cute read and I’ll be reading the sequels

The film is way better
I couldn't finish the book. Narrator is great, but the story is far from good. All characters, who are multifaceted and complex in film, are narrow-minded here. No true friendship, everyone thinks about own interests. Quite disappointed.
