Publisher's Summary

A complete authoritative book on the life of Prophet Muhammad PBUH by Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarkpuri. The Sealed Nector was honoured by the World Muslim League as first prize winner book. Whoever wants to know the whole life style of the Prophet in detail must listen to this audio-book.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him, are severe against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (fore heads) from the traces of prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurah (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, and becomes thick and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers, that He may enrage the disbelievers with them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous good deeds, forgiveness and a mighty reward (Paradise). (Al-Fath: 29)

The Prophet Muhammad (S) said: "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth. Some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain-water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain-water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking (making their animals drink from it) and to irrigate the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's Religion (Islam) and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah (Azawajal) has revealed through me (the Prophet) and learns and then teaches it to others. The (last example is that of a) person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's Guidance revealed through me (he is like that barren land)." (Al-Mukarramah)

Awkward narrator.

This is such an important and interesting book, unfortunately the narrator is so annoying that it takes away from the importance of the content. The narrator has an echo and his voice is irritating. a book like this should have been read by a calm and impactful voice. additionally the sound quality is so low that when I play music or radio after this I get scared because I turned the volume full blast to hear this book.

Important learnings

The Seerah is such an impactful way to understand the life of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and teachings that help to live our lives today in his footsteps. My one criticism of the audiobook is that at certain points, the narrator uses exaggerated voices to portray the speech of certain figures which in my opinion takes a bit away from the nobility of the Seerah.

Skipping words every paragraph 32 pages in!

Can some please fix this problem? It should not be this way. 😖 If I was not following along with a book to hear proper pernunciation of the arabic name, this purchase would be a total waste.

The worst narrator possibly used for this amazing book

I appreciate the effort but the delivery of the story and the narrator really did not do the story justice. It made a beautiful story unbearable to listen to.

There is an echo effect on the narrator’s voice which made it difficult to focus on the story unless you increase the speed. All Chapter titles were read in echoing voice.
There are also other exaggerated voices used to represent other characters this was very annoying.

Chapter 10 - Timestamp 30:50 to 38:03
The narrator’s voice gets very deep and distorted sounds like the audio got corrupted.

5 stars book but Incomprehensible way of speaking

I know that this book must be read by every Muslim. The book is a five 5 stars, i know that because I have read it in the past. But the narrator... The narrator speaks Arabic, so the names and other Arabic-origin words are pronounced correctly in the original language.
However, the narrator makes the book unpleasant to listen to. It would be like trying to imagine him reading by adding pauses every 5 words in each sentence you read.
And the echo effect... it persists throughout the reading; it's driving me crazy.
If you can tolerate that, you can purchase the audiobook without being disappointed.
I couldn't finish listening, and I asked Amazon for a refund, which they granted.

Could not listen

I found the narration and sound effects too distracting to be able to follow the story. I made several attempts to get through this but could not. Unfortunately, I will have to purchase the book and read it myself.
