About this listen

When the Twin Towers collapsed, the world looked on in disbelief. Isabel should have been at her desk on the 82nd floor in the North Tower, but she was running late that morning.

In the early hours of September 11, 2001, Isabel Henry discovers she's pregnant. The shock of a baby and all its implications sends her into an emotional tailspin causing her to miss her 7:30 train into New York City. Anxiety over getting fired, coupled with thoughts of securing an abortion, preoccupy Isabel's late morning commute. When her train arrives in Penn Station she is immediately distracted. The Twin Towers have been attacked by terrorists, and she watches in utter horror as the two infrastructures collapse.

As the enormity of what has occurred begins to sink in, Isabel realizes this tiny being growing within her is responsible for saving her life. Will she reciprocate? Following that catastrophic summer of 2001, a few years pass before Isabel finally reaches a sense of healing and peace in her life. Just when she embarks on a new life, her past catches up with her - a sinister plan is set in motion that could devastate the safe little world she had painstakingly rebuilt. She is in for the fight of her life...again.

We all have secrets that can save us, but we have many more that could destroy us.
