About this listen
Hollywood's make-believe maniacs like Jason, Freddy, and Hannibal Lecter can't hold a candle to real-life monsters like John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, and scores of others who have terrorized, tortured, and terminated their way across civilization throughout the ages. Now, from the much-acclaimed author of Deviant, Deranged, and Depraved, comes the ultimate resource on the serial killer phenomenon.
Rigorously researched, this innovative and highly compelling compendium covers every aspect of multiple murderers, including psychology, cinema, fetishism, fan clubs, "trophies", and trading cards.

Repeats a lot of content
I expect when reading about topics like this that it'll be content I've already heard somewhere else, but the book literally repeats the same stories over and over again. In one section it'll be a small blurb, while in another - a few paragraphs- and then another, a reference. It makes the flow of the book clunky and had me wondering if I was repeating sections by mistake. Interesting, but clunky. Great narrator tho

interesting storylines on serial killers
I found it pretty interesting to hear about all sorts of kinds of serial killers that were out there the only thing that I find questionable was the unknown BTK killer at the time in this book came out I thought maybe they would have mentioned it

formulaic and boring
the bass in the recording was way too high, the book was formulaic. It was formatted like every other serial killer book. It was very repetitive.

Repeating stories over and over.
I couldn’t wait for the end. the stories bounced around and repeated. I don't recommend this book.
