THE FINAL DISCWORLD NOVEL
Deep in the Chalk, something is stirring. The owls and the foxes can sense it, and Tiffany Aching feels it in her boots. An old enemy is gathering strength.
This is a time of endings and beginnings, old friends and new, a blurring of edges and a shifting of power. Now Tiffany stands between the light and the dark, the good and the bad.
As the fairy horde prepares for invasion, Tiffany must summon all the witches to stand with her. To protect the land. Her land.
There will be a reckoning...
The Shepherd's Crown is the fifth book in the Tiffany Aching series, and the final book in the Discworld series, but you can listen to the Discworld novels in any order.
The first book in the Discworld series - The Colour of Magic - was published in 1983. Some elements of the Discworld universe may reflect this.

A beautiful finale
Writing a long review for Terry Pratchett’s final Discworld instalment seems unnecessary. If you’re reading/listening to The Shepherd’s Crown you have probably read many Discworld novels already and there is no need to elaborate on the wonderful magic created by Sir Terry. So, simply, mind how you go.

Terry Pratchett was one the best , most insightful writers of our times.
Terry Pratchett was one the best , most insightful writers of our times. He has made me laugh, cry, feel solemn, and merry by turns.
He is one of the very very few to come closest to what witchcraft is truly about. I hope his death was as peaceful as anyone can hope for, despite knowing most of us wish for more time. Selfishly, I wish for all those books he will never write, meanwhile reading and re-reading those already published. Terry Pratchett: you will be sorely missed, even by those who only knew you by your writing. Your family has my deepest sympathy.
Thank you for giving us your unique and wonderful stories.
