The movie
Good backgrounder on The Sound of Music movie, from the von Trapp family origin story, earlier movies made in Austria and Germany, through to creating the screenplay, score and shooting. Interesting that Julie Andrews was so new to the public at this time. Enjoyed the segments about shooting on location, which they did while possible. Best bits were the origins of particular songs. Ends with where they all all today. A good listen.
