Publisher's Summary

"Present day conditions," writes Pink, "call loudly for a new examination and new presentation of God's omnipotence, God's sufficiency, God's sovereignty. From every pulpit in the land it needs to be thundered forth that God still lives, that God still observes, that God still reigns. Faith is now in the crucible, it is being tested by fire, and there is no fixed and sufficient resting place for the heart and mind but in The Throne of God. What is needed now, as never before, is a full, positive, constructive setting forth of the Godhood of God."

It really is all about Him!

Stop searching the scripture from your own perspective. It is about the Supremacy of God over all things. You'll never understand them until you read from this perspective. Human nature hates this as this book so elegantly testifies to.

Legalistic View of the Elect

Narration was great, content can easily mislead believers. AW Pink uses Scripture to justify his belief that God does not hope that ALL would be saved. "Take heed that no man deceive you" Matthew 24:4 ---Atonement--- The Godhead Father, Son, Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit operates to glorify God. The Father wills that ALL would be saved, the Son provides salvation for all, the Spirit regenerates all who believe that the blood of Christ covers all confessed sins. The Sovereignty of God is well defined in this writing, the rest twists the word of God to substantiate Pinks theology. The Holy Spirit is my teacher and He gives me wisdom as He sanctifies me comforts and gives discernment. Isaiah 40:14-23 "Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way? Who was it that taught Him knowledge, or showed Him the path of understanding? Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket; they are regarded as dust on the scales; He weighs the islands as though they were fine dust. Before Him all the nations are as nothing; they are regarded by Him as worthless and less than nothing. With whom, then, will you compare God? To what image will you liken him? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing." Ephesians 4:14 "Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming."
